A number of Committee members will have access to use this facility at training sessions and trial matches. NB: Playing fees now include Briars@Greenlees sporting club membership ($10) for anyone over the age of 18. Any mens player also playing Vets will receive a fee reduction of $10 (as both fees currently include sporting club membership) as well as their Hockey NSW registration fee (also included in both fees above).

 Wanted: Spare Room

Have a room to rent? Briars will be welcoming a male German player in mid February for the season and he is looking for a room to rent. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if you can help out.

 Wanted: Freezer

The ice freezer at Cintra has sadly konked out after all these years so we are looking for a replacement to be donated to the club, in exchange for naming rights and a canteen voucher.  Looking for an extra fitness session each week? Join Briars Squash!

Briars Squash are looking for new male players for their competition commencing in March. Mens – Sydney Hockey Association (SHA) SHA are planning on commencing their senior mens competition on Saturday 31 March. To allow for an additional junior slot each morning at some venues, SHA are also considering pushing back their timeslots by 30 minutes meaning Saturday matches will be 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm, 5:30pm, 7:00pm and 8:30pm. SHA will be utilising additional slots at various venues in an attempt to minimise the number of 8:30pm games in the draw.

Womens – Sydney Womens Hockey League (SWHL) SWHL will be commencing their senior womens competition on Sunday 15 April. Briars have offered SWHL an additional time slot on Sunday afternoons, bringing their booking to 3 games in a row, so we hope to see more Briars womens teams in the SWHL competition playing at our home ground next year.
