PLAY JUNIOR SQUASH WITH THE BRIARS!!!

Briars at Greenlees Squash have been seeking new senior and junior players to plan for the future and ensure that squash remains a successful major sport at Briars @ Greenlees.

To this end we have a good response from Mick Jaroszewicz's boys Alexander, 11,  Nicklas, 9  & Oliver, 7.

Having attended Saturday training days from a young age in the pram the boys have always been keen racquet players, with Alex winning the West Pymble Primary School, boy's tennis championship, 2004 and more recently the St Pius X, Junior School Championship in 2006.  Whilst their Mum has been away on holiday in Sweden, the boys have been keen to keep their racquet skills alive and support Mick on competition nights.  They have attended the past two competition evenings at Olympic Park and at home Fivedock.

They were so excited and impressed by the comradory of the squashies, buying them drinks, lollies and feeding them pizza until past 11pm, that they have all pledged to become Briars at Greenlees squashies.

There must be more sons and daughters of B@G members just waiting for the opportunity to get on court and have a whack with (at) Mum and Dad or have some junior coaching.. (something that we will start once we get a response and ideas on numbers).
