To maximise the facilities available, provide excellent management and services to our membership base and be competitive in all our sporting arenas.

The aim of the Club is to foster and promote recreational activities on the sporting field to members of the community.

In addition the Club provides social facilities for after game functions and other social occasions. Within this environment Briars continues to play pivotal role for sport in the community and must now position itself for future growth and management opportunities.

To be recognised for its competence in sports administration, hospitality, friendliness and community spirit

To properly cater for the growth of our joint sports on a managerial, social and economic basis.

Provide a focus on the development and training of our sporting teams (Bowls, Rugby Hockey, Squash, Cricket, Netball);  

Integrate and strengthen the different sporting bodies;

Develop leadership in education and training to our members for their sporting growth;

Establish a club capable of providing improvements in sporting achievement and be capable of growing our sporting base.
